Milwaukee Natural Light Beach Family & Maternity Photography | Benjamin and Family

Oh sweet Benjamin. Full of smiles and just a wee bit of mischief, Benjamin is beloved by his mom Erika & dad Dave, and he’s already learning how to share that love. He’ll be a big brother soon and he was delighted to introduce me to his mama’s “bump” on a warmer than usual fall day just perfect for Christmas tree shopping. The last time I saw Benjamin he was just walking and seemed like a rather serious little boy, but on this day (and pretty much every day according to his parents) Benjamin was all smiles, all silliness and all cuddles. I loved exploring the trees with him and then witnessing his confident march down to the lake with mom and dad in tow. And oh how that beach brought back memories, as we realized it was the same beach we had visited on Erika & Dave’s wedding day a few years ago. My how time changes us, how it shapes us into versions of ourselves we could have never imagined, but that we are grateful to be – caregivers, protectors, teachers: mothers & fathers.
