Dori & Andrew met in college but in a few short years their story has so many twists and turns it seems rather like they’ve been together a lifetime. They’ve dated long distance, living in different states (and countries) for graduate school and deployments. They’ve traveled together and met one another’s family. And now that they are planning a wedding this winter saw them happily squeeze in an engagement session in Milwaukee before packing in what likely felt like a year of catchups and vacations into what I think was a grand total of 6 days together. But, I have to say, when one is with them all of that seeming chaos floats away and what is left is a pair of souls that are wholly in love, truly in awe, and completely happy with one another. Dori melts into Andrew with laughter and trust while Andrew marvels openly at how lucky he is to be with her. They take care of each other and I imagine that to be the true blessing of finding your partner in this world. Sunshine or rain, wind or snow, proximity or distance, none of it really matters when you’ve found your other half.
