Hannah & Haydar have a love story that begs to be told, to be cheered on, to be cherished. They met in architecture school and share a passion for design, travel, art, space & place, things that are made well and things that make them feel alive. Little tidbits of their story made me adore the two of them instantly: Haydar proposed from Brazil via facetime and custom-made book while he was visiting home and Hannah was doing the same in Wisconsin. During their brunch wedding reception Haydar facetimed to another home in Lebanon while Hannah showed his mom how handsome he looked and introduced her relatives to his via tiny phone screen. Hannah’s one-of-a-kind ring is literally the “big rock” she told him she wanted – albeit concrete, black and sprinkled with diamond dust. Theirs is a love story that crosses three continents and requires a lot of paperwork. It is also a love story that illustrates how two people can be so unequivocally made for one another.
