It isn’t uncommon for us to meet couples who say rather self-deprecating things about themselves. Oh we don’t really want to make our wedding a big deal but we do want to make sure our family has a good time and knows we love them. Karin said something similar to this when she first chatted with us about her Bacchus wedding celebration for this June and that humble, others-first attitude of hers totally drew us in. And her simple at home pre-wedding session with hubby Phil seriously proved us right to be intrigued by these two and their love story. That story has some twists and turns and in fact, they already *officially* tied the knot last fall in a church ceremony complete with an gorgeous jumpsuit and witnesses. But family and friends are important to them so the plan is to treat their nearest and dearest to an incredible fine dining experience one June evening – and to go outside their comfort zone and treat themselves to an evening where the fact they found each other is totally front and center. I love this simple at home session that strips everything down to the facts: Phil loves Karin, Karin loves Phil, Life is really good and dang, sunsets on Lake Michigan are lovely. And oh yeah, walking hand in hand, heart in heart to anywhere (or nowhere) is pretty much the stuff perfect evenings are made of.
