Kimmie & Steve are planning a Lake Geneva wedding for this summer, a midwestern daydream in the middle of their Boston reality. They love their life together on the east coast, but the lake calls. And with its call comes the promise of a sweet and fun, romantic and personal, all-out awesome wedding day filled with their best friends and family, those they were born to and those they’ve chosen. I learned a bit about their plans and their day-to-day when they stopped by the studio last week for a short engagement session, really a walk through the neighborhood with a camera. We wandered and laughed, explored and had fun with shadows and sunshine. In the end I loved the simplicity of our time together because it felt so easy and light, like the definition of happiness itself.
