One of the things we love about weddings is getting to know brides and grooms through the people they surround themselves with on their best day. Moms and Dads, Maids of Honor and Best Men usually clue us into the funny, sweet quirks about a couple, the reasons people like them, their dreams and histories and hoped for futures. Diana and Nick had all of that in abundance at their wedding but it was the little people – two ring bearers and a flower girl – who offered some of the greatest insight into them for anyone paying attention. Nick loves to travel and does it often and well and part of his vision for the future is taking those ring bearer nephews along with him and teaching them about the world, too. He took time to play pool with them before his First Look with Diana and it was obvious that the boys adore him. And the flower girl Mila is like a niece to Diana. The daughter of Diana’s Maid of Honor, when asked who her favorite princess was she immediately replied: Diana. How sweet is that? And totally deserved, to boot because Diana and Nick are a pair that inspires smiles, friendship and devotion in all of their friends and family. Their wedding day was a celebration of those facts and ultimately, a celebration of the sweet truth that they are so well matched in their love for one another.
