Colleen & John didn’t grow up in the same town or even the same state. They cheer for different teams. She’s white wine and he’s bourbon. They are, in many ways, very different from one another. But on their Milwaukee wedding day it wasn’t their differences that stood out, but rather it was their shared values across friends, fun and family that came to the fore. They are Northwoods Supper Club people who love living in Chicago. They have a personal style that I would describe as elegant, but don’t mind toasting with a can of Milwaukee’s finest brew. They are fun and flirty, subtle and sweet, all together go with the flow and get the party started. And start it (and end it and play in the middle of it) they did as they tied the knot and hosted their reception at the always intriguing and beautiful Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee. Their guests adored exploring the historic building and dancing the night away to a favorite band while their parents loved and doted on them. And as is always their style Colleen and John doted back as they celebrated Colleen’s mom’s birthday that day, too. It was a day and night to be proud of, to savor, to remember and to celebrate. It was, by all accounts and observation, the perfect first day as a new family.
