Becca & Rick are at home in Indianapolis where they live and work their engineering and design dreams, but at their Osthoff Resort wedding their love of history (her), fast vehicles (him), and lake life (both of them) defined their day. Becca celebrated family traditions and shared history, relying on her mom and grandmother to gather and share the beautiful glassware that made up part of their reception centerpieces. Along with the blue and green vintage bottles that became vases her whole family gathered to create the minimalist inspired table numbers and oh-how-lovely they turned out. We loved how the little touches throughout their day became the big details to remember: celtic wishing stones invited their guests to bless them and they included an emotional hand fasting tradition in their ceremony. They took time to travel to Road America, Rick’s Happy Place, to share a few moments with one another and watch the sunset. And so our wish for them this Thanksgiving Day is to keep all of those details close to their hearts and minds every day – take time to feels those stones in hand, fill the vases with flowers, watch the sunset, go for a drive, dance in the kitchen, and always hold each other close.
