For a wedding photographer weekends are for other people’s families. For seeing – really seeing – how love blessed by parents and friends and the church comes to make a family. So you see, for us a Saturday with other people’s families is really an exercise in finding meaning in the world and my goodness, did we find it at Gabrielle and Bob’s exquisite October wedding. Their love story starts with a study abroad trip to Italy and winds through his home state of Minnesota and her Wisconsin, and through every new chapter they’ve had the support of some very impressive role models: their parents. Their wedding day was no exception – from Gabrielle’s mom helping with the tiny details on the back of her amazing dress to Bob’s dad helping him tie his tie just perfectly. From witnessing their first look, to walking down the aisle and all night through toasts, and dancing, their parents looked on – encouraging, proud, and really, in love with the devotion they witnessed between Gabrielle & Bob. And so, if you need a little pick me up, a little evidence that love is alive and well and marriage is worth it, look no further than this set of beautiful images of the most lovely couple on the happiest of days. Cheers to Gabrielle & Bob!
