It is no secret that in so many ways I am a wedding nerd – and everyone I work with is too. So even when we aren’t capturing a real wedding for a sweet couple we are dreaming about what we would do given the awesome task of designing our own ideal wedding. As planners and photographers we work and live in the city, love a glammed out high heel, can’t resist a black bow tie paired with a slim cut tux and delight in pretending we are in Paris when munching on a macaroon. Still, the woods often call out to us, begging to be wandered and enjoyed while offering a cool respite from the city heat and sun. So while we love a classic cathedral ceremony and a warehouse reception, we adore an outdoor wedding – so we set out to dream of a wooded wedding that is anything but rustic.
