Washington DC Engagement Session for Rebecca & Jeff

Rebecca & Jeff are Wisconsinites who’ve found their home and the start of their life together in our nation’s capital. They live walking distance to some of the most iconic buildings in DC: the Supreme Court, the Library Congress and Congress itself.  I met them for the first time in person and we played on the marble steps and under the arches of those buildings – simply happy to be warm and together on a Tuesday.  In DC they’ve welcomed spring and I was lucky enough to get a walking tour of their neighborhood, as well, replete with blooming roses and irises, and all the lovely brick residential architecture I could want. We are hoping they’ll bring the sunshine and blooms with them this weekend (!) when they tie the knot at another gorgeous all white building – Milwaukee’s Art Museum. But even if the rains stay and the trees are yet to bud, I know these two will light up every room they enter and warm up every space they occupy so great is their love and happiness with one another. Maybe that’s cheesy, but it’s totally true.
