Emerson Rene is six months old and counting, a big cheeked, delightful baby who inspires smiles wherever she goes. She is discovering new things daily and would really love it if her fur siblings would pay her more attention (patience, baby girl. They will discover you one day and then they’ll never leave your bed, I promise.) I first met Emerson during her newborn session and was more than happy to be back in her sphere for a “hey I can sit now” session just a week or so ago. She chewed on her stuffies and drooled perfectly, thought we were crazy for offering her tulips to hold, and enjoyed flipping the pages of her books with mom & dad. It was a lovely way to spend a morning and I know here mom and dad agree. Time moves so quickly and if babies have a gift for us it is the ability slow us down, in the best way possible. Thank you Emerson for the reminder to stop and smell the flowers, play with the cats, enjoy a cuddle, and just be together.
