Alex & Brian’s Lake Geneva wedding day was epically lovely – full of romantic touches, personalized details and lake love befitting a young couple who adores their time spent lakeside with family. Brian grew up summering at a cabin along the lake and when he met Alex she quickly became part of the lake crew, too. In fact, I first met them for their engagement just down the shoreline from their wedding day venue at that vintage resort his family calls home for a little while each summer. So we were delighted to spend a most perfect Saturday this summer with them as Geneva Lake transformed from a nice vacation place to the Place Where They Said Yes to Forever. I think Brian may have summed it up perfectly when he chose to transcribe Chase Bryant lyrics onto the bottom of Alex’s shoes: I wanna dream your dreams / Wanna make em all come true / Dance every dance that you want to / Every breath I breathe will be for you / I wanna change your name / I wanna call you mine / I wanna make you smile / At least a million times / I’ll give you all my love / Every night and day

But perhaps most importantly he added :

I’ve loved you since the day we met. You’re perfect.

And astonishingly I think the brother, sister and dads that toasted Alex & Brian on their day added the same sentiment. To their siblings and parents Alex and Brian are perfect and they have been so very loved since the day they entered the world. And with that kind of love surrounding them & their Love I can only imagine how great their life will be as Mr. & Mrs.
