This is the last in a THREE part blog series on the wedding of Sid & Drew. Like all good stories this one has a beginning and if you haven’t seen it I invite you to start with their Mehendi Night at Villa Terrace. Then relax into their Christian ceremony at Community Methodist in Elm Grove before tucking into this pretty glorious post featuring their Baraat, Hindu ceremony at the Historic Pritzlaff Building, and their feel good reception & dance party. I have already written a fair number of nice things about Drew & Sid in my previous posts and I feel them blushing across the miles that separate us in real time so I will keep this simple. But utterly sweet, because there is no other way to be when reflecting on the force that is Drew & Sid’s love and their epic wedding day.
Love isn’t always from the same town, steeped in the same religious tradition, from the same culture, or even in the same language and it doesn’t always take you to the same graduate school even if you are married. But Drew & Sid are proof that Love – in all its messy glory – is worth fighting for. Love is something to fly across the country for, to dance in the streets for, to celebrate with flower petal showers and champagne toasts. Love is worth big cakes and synchronized dances. Love is worth every religious ceremony you can throw at it and MORE. Love is everything.
