Wisconsin Family Photography | Carter & Jude along the lakefront

Vicki & Kevin were married at the iconic Milwaukee Art Museum a handful of Mays ago. Since then their lives have grown and flourished in Minnesota where they brought two babies into the world and where they are deep into medical careers they love. Still, they have roots in Wisconsin and when back here for a family reunion of sorts they sought out the lakefront and all its charms. I tagged along. Jude just celebrated her 1 year birthday and is a weeble wobble, but by the time this blog post hits their inbox I am sure she will be running. Her big brother Carter loves her, even if he would really rather have all the attention to himself right now. But point out a boat, or bird or city dog out for a walk and he forgets any lingering jealousy of Jude; he has an entire A-to-Z dinosaur song to sing, after all. I love these sweet images of them with their wedding venue as the backdrop, how Carter loves to run and how Jude is most confident with mama or dada’s hand in hers. Time can pause now – this is the stuff dreams are made of.
