Kate & Kieven | Wisconsin Fall Engagement Photography

At the writing of this post there is a great debate in the studio. Who is more adorable? Katie & Kieven the couple or Gemma the dog? Really, there is no right way to answer this because the three of them go together so perfectly, each making the other more irresistible because happiness is what makes a person (or dog) shine from within. And maybe that is cheesy or cliche, but I don’t care because it’s also totally true. Katie & Kieven are magnetically happy; happy to hike in the woods, or go for a bike ride, happy to hang at the bier garden, or take the pup for a walk. Just…Happy. And so with an afternoon of sunshine and lots of time to meander they enjoyed their past and present, from dog walks in Estabrook Park in Whitefish Bay to Lakefront Brewery where they had many early dates. They talked about how their family members are also their friends, living in Riverwest and now Whitefish Bay, and about how the 1 year countdown to their wedding was drawing near. But best of all they simply enjoyed each other’s gift of time. Well, that and a few puppy licks from Gemma.
