Colette and Ray have the kind of love story that slowly unfolds in conversation, perhaps best told throughout a meandering city walk. She is from Wisconsin originally and now lives out east where Ray is from, but they split their time between a couple different spots along the east coast. Over the years Ray has grown to love our little state and embraces its sometimes urbane but often quirky nature so he was all in for a Milwaukee summer wedding. In what will be a destination wedding for many of their friends, if also a city adventure for her family, they’ll tie the knot in what is sure to be a gorgeous affair at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Their style is understated but luxe and they love the Third Ward. And while they are seemingly quiet at first blush, after spending a bit of time with them the most important details that emerge are that 1) they are sweetly in love with each other and 2) they adore their daughter Sophia. And really, what else is there to tell? Sometimes the simplest stories are the best ones.
