Wisconsin Extended Family Photography at the Lake

We love photographing families in their “natural habitat” and when that habitat is on the Lake, surrounded by gorgeous leafy woods, and with access to beachy walks, tree forts and extra smiles, all the better. On a rare weekend when this now-spread-out-over-the-country family was able to gather in person we were honored to follow along and play in their world. Grandma and Grandpa hosted everyone at their lake cottage and cousins met face to face. There was a lot of splashing and sweet bribery, tonka truck play and cuddles. Each family took turns for portrait time and all together; it was, very simply a lovely morning at the lake with lovely people and lovely light. Cheers to family and cheers to love; cheers to hearts growing year by year to make room for more lake days, more happiness, more tiny humans.
