Monica & Duncan know a thing or ten about rescheduling a wedding. But really, their story isn’t about “we almost” or “we planned to” and instead it is all about “we choose to.” They chose to marry one another close to home at a place close to their hearts. They chose to wed one another encircled by their truly nearest and dearest friends and family. The chose to celebrate small so as to feel every moment of their day more deeply. They chose each other.
This is the story of that choice.
Duncan dressed at the adorable home he shares with Monica, while she readied at his family’s house. After sweet moments with her mom & dad & best friends Monica floated out to the garden where Duncan awaited her and where they shared an emotional first look & private vows. From there it was all about time with their loved ones and making new memories with them. They wed in the covered and beautifully day-lit courtyard at the always elegant Onwentsia Club and then watched the sunset together. Glasses were raised in their honor and sparklers saw them off into their first days of marriage. And all present were in agreement that really, truly everything about the day was the perfect choice.
