Kailey & Chris | Retzer Winter Engagement Session with Snow

Oh snow, how we love you. And how we love long walks in the woods, keeping warm by holding hands, telling stories and of course, our favorite kind of story; the How We Met.  And oh man, Chris & Kailey’s is a good one, a most unlikely, most-Hallmark movie story, in fact. She was on a rather awful blind date and realized she knew the bartender. She asked him to figure out how to extricate her and he sent over his brother Chris, who happened to be visiting him that night. Chris pretended to know Kailey and struck up not only a conversation, but also the start of an incredible relationship that night. There’s a metaphor about rescuing a princess in here somewhere but Kailey doesn’t strike me as someone who often needs rescuing, so I like to think that they rescued each other that evening. And really love is what will rescue us all, don’t you think? Well, I can’t think of a better post to start of the new year than one like this so full of true love, riotous laughter & best friendship.
