I first met Nora & Chris along Milwaukee’s lakefront where they love to walk their dog Poppy and enjoy sunrises & sunsets and all the lovely lakeside hours in between. During that engagement session meeting we chatted a lot about their wedding plans and to look back on it feels rather a lot like looking back at a different world. It was pre-pandemic and the plans were for summer and a ballroom reception. But thanks to a lot of re-envisioning and lots of research hours on the part of Nora’s mom plus an admirable “we can do this” approach to wedding (re)planning, Nora & Chris did indeed achieve a 2020 wedding. And friends, it was gorgeous. Leading up to their new year’s eve wedding fresh snow made it’s first appearance of the season and on the day itself the sun kissed the world with a touch of warmth and oodles of buttery light. Poppy the day and their beloved family & friends celebrated them in grand style. To a sound track of cheers and sparklers, tears and dancing, Nora & Chris became husband and wife and according to all involved there was no better way to spend the last day of 2020.
