Whitney & Dan | Milwaukee Summer Engagement

Whitney & Dan are a sweet couple who bring smiles and kindness out in other people, mostly by constantly demonstrating those two qualities themselves. They are unassuming, but not shy, smart and witty, but never over the top; they are, in a word, delightful. We’ve known Whitney’s family for a number of years and after chatting with Dan about his, I can honestly say that I’m thrilled for Whitney to get to add his family to her impressive group of related people. That said, I’m pretty sure we are going to have glowing reviews of Dan’s family too once we meet them at Whitney & Dan’s upcoming August wedding. But first this session – a slow meander through their neighborhood where they updated me on wedding plans and did a little dreaming about the future. It was a sunny and airy morning, filled with warmth and conversation and these photos capture what we all want in life: companionship, laughter, friendship & trust.
