Kylie & Tom | Greenbrier West Virginia Destination Wedding Weekend

Kylie & Tom hosted an incredibly sweet – dare I write magical? – wedding weekend at the iconic Greenbrier Resort to kick off their most favorite summer. The Greenbrier is easy to love, but for Kylie & Tom it now represents the most important thing in the world: Family. Tom’s Illinois based family has a history of gathering there in years past, where he made some of the memories that define him now as a brother, a son, a grandson. In his heartfelt and welcoming speech during the reception, Tom’s dad talked wistfully about family time spent at the Greenbrier and about how those days seemed long past until Kylie came along and made them not only relevant again, but almost sacred. Visiting with Tom for the first time Kylie had immediately recognized a fairytale in action, a Disney World for design lovers and folks who’s idea of a vacation day likely involves cocktails earned through recreation. But she also recognized how special a place like the Greenbrier could be for memory making – a place where every vignette, every room, every activity is thoughtfully composed and sensorially gorgeous and after Tom proposed to here there it became THE place for her, too. Tom’s dad thanked Kylie for bringing the family back to this most special place and we thank her and Tom, too.
