Jess & Paul + Evie at Lion’s Den | Northshore Family Session

My ever lasting memory of Jess & Paul is without a doubt how much they trusted us on their wedding day. It was July and the most gorgeous day to be married at the iconic Milwaukee Art Museum and when I led them to the underground parking garage to do portraits they didn’t look at me like I was crazy. The result was some of my favorite-ever MAM portraits. Or rather, the result was some of my favorite-ever portraits. Full stop. So when they asked me to meet them on a fall day at Lion’s Den to meet their baby girl I was not only honored, I was thrilled to get to make more magical photographs for these two sweet souls. Evie was a mama’s girl on this day and needed a little milk pick me up half way through. She giggled and refused to walk and made us all happy with her joyful, baby presence. And she didn’t even look at me like I was crazy when I suggested she take a seat on the board walk for her snack. Like parents, like daughter.
