Erin & Jacob’s wedding was an incredible example of love, hope and joy that will live with us for seasons to come. As individuals, Erin & Jacob are both kind and bubbly, the sort of people everyone wants to call a friend. As a couple they are a riot, totally fun and totally committed to friendship, the sort of couple that double dates were invented for. As a daughter and a son, a sister and an honorary brother, they are inspiring and beloved, the kind of humans others feel lucky to call “theirs.” So on a beautiful midwestern day they played tourist in their hometown, with stops at Lake Park and the Deer District before arriving at the lakefront for a bourbon toast to commemorate Jacob’s Louisville connections. They were married in their faith tradition overlooking Lake Michigan, under a Chuppah built to showcase Jacob’s mom’s favorite flowers. Although he has been a part of her family for a long time, Erin’s family made it clear that Jacob belongs to them now. And then they danced and danced and danced. It was a day for filling hearts and making memories, a night for celebrating and saying yes to Forever. It was magical.
