The biggest gift of a job like ours is that wedding photography is fundamentally about sharing endless joy. Every wedding is a testament to the power of love and family and hope and belief in the idea that we all want to be connected. Every nuptial mass is a gift to a parent or a partner, every reception celebration is a toast to the past and a toast to the possibility of a beautiful future. Every first dance is a new beginning, a nod to the intensely human emotion that is JOY. And so: as we round the bend from this year to the next it is with great pride, humility and total awe that we post this blog featuring the last wedding we photographed in 2021. Mary Kate & Scottie are beloved by their friends and family and they are total lights in the darkness.
