Sitting down to craft a blog for our wedding couples is both a gift and a trial. We love to see the best of the best images from a wedding day coalesce into a love story in picture form; we love the anticipation of sharing the photos that thus far only our studio folks have seen. But with that comes the very real and arduous task of making sure our words about the couple cover the full depth and breadth of their story. And for Gabby & Dan that task is monumental because these two are so incredibly lovely – as friends, as clients, as children, as partners. Gabby & Dan’s wedding was unexpectedly, gloriously warm, a November day full of found color and chosen color, rich textures and so much gorgeous style it was impossible to resist smiling all day. They were by turns nervous and happy, two souls who had waited so long to say I Do they could barely believe it was finally happening. Their family & friends (and vendor team from planner to DJ to florist and venue) deserve a robust nod, too: they wrapped them up in cheers and laughter, kept the dance floor full all night and made sure Gabby & Dan had no worries from start to late night finish. And in the middle of it all was the sweetest pair, the kindest couple, two humans anyone would feel honored to know, much less celebrate a marriage with on a perfect day in November. Thanks for showing us how sweet life is Gabby & Dan ~ cheers to starting your lives together (officially!)
