Haleigh and Luke’s wedding planning story is one about family. The families that made them, the family they’ll become. From the engagement ring to the wedding date (they’ll share an anniversary date with her parents), family keeps coming up in any conversation about their wedding. So it was no surprise when Haleigh mentioned she would like to do their engagement session at her grand parent’s lake house where her parent’s were married. See what I mean? But it must be said that even without all of the place based awesomeness, Haleigh & Luke would still be an amazing couple to photograph. They are easy to laugh and clearly madly in love, two city people who dig barefoot walks on lake piers and sunset cocktails to close out any day. So grab a glass of something bubbly (or a bottle of something hoppy) and kick off your shoes; this is a good one and you’ll want to drink it in fully.
