Alyssa & Ankur know a thing or two about the phrase Good Things Come To Those Who Wait. They delayed their 2022 wedding by more than a year yes, because of the pandemic, but also because they have a pretty extensive list of important people who just had to be there for it to feel like the wedding they had dreamed of. So they delayed..and switched venues…and delayed to make sure that friends and family from around the country and around the world could travel and be present – and truly present they really were. Over the course of at least 4 days family steeped the two of them in religious and cultural traditions that welcomed each of them into new families, that tied those families together, and that ultimately bound the two of them to one another for eternity. As far as weddings go it was joyful and blessedly busy, colorful and wonderfully full of music, laughter and dancing. And as far as love stories go, this one is already pretty sweet, but the clearly the future holds so much promise for these two as they grow and evolve together, as a couple, as a family.
And on Saturday they gathered again because seriously, why have 1 wedding when you can have TWO?
