Every wedding is a gift of sorts, for the families involved, for the guests in attendance, perhaps even for a community. But some weddings have a kind of extra special energy that makes the day stand out in a photographer’s memory. Heidi & Paul’s outdoor wedding was such an event, so full of life and love that it numbers among those that we know we will look back on for years as an exquisite example of how to pull off the perfect At Home Wedding. That home is her parents’ farm where the land is full of flowering gardens and watched over by massive, stately trees. The ceremony space was under one of those sentinels and the 1800s barn on the property hosted the dancing. In the time in between an elegant dinner was served family style under a tent and sweet toasts marked the night with laughter, great memories and a few tears, too. Through it all Heidi and Paul clearly savored every second, every details, every hug, every moment that made the day so perfectly theirs.
