Karley & Jake’s wedding deserves every adjective there is that leads back to the word GORGEOUS. With a rock star wedding planning and design team on board every detail of the day was considered, perfectly curated and utterly inviting. Add to that the simple fact that Karley & Jake are two of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet with the kind of families people like that deserve and well, you’ll start to understand where I’m going with this story. The day started and ended at Karley’s family home with stunning views of Lake Michigan as the ideal backdrop for a sail cloth tented reception and a backyard cocktail party of my dreams. In between was a personal & beautiful mass at Lumen Christi and the constant laughter, love and joy of their friends and family. It was a day focused on joining two families, on celebrating Karley’ & Jake’s shared history (they went to high school together and in so many ways have been a part of one another’s families for a long time now) and ultimately on inviting every soul in attendance to be present, to be joyful, to be a part of this magical love story that they call theirs.
