Delanee and Andrew had a remarkable wedding day. It was filled with sentimental family details and intentional choices, incredible music both traditional and fun, and every little thing was considered, curated and incorporated with style, love and joy. It all really starts and ends with their sacrament of marriage at the Basilica of St Josaphat’s where the beauty of the music felt like an offering in itself, the kind of choral and organ performance that gave everyone present chills. They exchanged heartfelt vows and rings, with Andrew’s being incredibly special as it once belonged to his Grandfather. Their mass was emotional, lovely, and a totally befitting start to their marriage. From there they floated down the grand steps of the basilica and out into a gorgeous fall day with their bridal party before joining the full host of their favorite people at another architectural and historic beauty: Milwaukee’s Hilton City Center. And from here all thoughts and hearts were on the idea of celebration as they were toasted and cheered by all present. They enjoyed the sunset together and they put on their dancing shoes (in Delanee’s case a literal event as she did a throwback number with her college dance teammates), they held each other close and they savored every second. Like I said, it was a remarkable day.
