On the most beautiful April day one can imagine two of the kindest people in Wisconsin bound their souls to one another at their church with their people as witnesses. But first, they started the day at the home they already share with their beloved cat and after they celebrated at one of their favorite places in the city, next to the bluest lake and with the most gorgeous light. It was a superlatives kind of day and we were there for every moment of it. We loved how the morning drizzle allowed Jillian to wear her silver Hunters & play with an umbrella and how the church sacrament paired so meaningfully with her choice to wear a bolero crafted from her grandmother’s wedding dress. We loved how their taste for Angel’s Envy was customized to them and shared between Chris and his men, how the rain cleared at just the right time and the lake greeted them with a kiss of wind just perfect for a spring day. We loved how Jillian & Chris took time to talk with their guests, to hug their loved ones, to remember their ancestors, to celebrate with their coworkers. It could not have been a more perfect day for a most perfect pair.
