Callie & Dave’s October wedding day came faster than either of them could have ever imagined. They met less than two years ago and knew near instantly that one another was indeed The One. So many relationship (and really, life) milestones have happened to them in those two subsequent years that they charted them along the way, knowingly instinctively that each event, each decision, was significant and so very purposefully leading them to a day when they would say I Do – Forever. I adore that they know the dates of all those big decisions and decided to write them down for themselves but also for their wedding guests, who laughed and loved and toasted their way through Callie & Dave’s fall wedding with them. Callie & Dave met early in the day to share a few sweet, private moments and slowly added their favorite people in the world into their experience. They didn’t let a bit of rain quiet the festivities and they enjoyed their outdoor wedding ceremony complete with adorable flower girls, a bagpiper and a joyful hand fasting ritual. I love how they mixed homey and elegant with tasty pies and DIY details paired with lovely calligraphed paper and soft hydrangeas in mercury glass. From start to finish these two made the day infinitely theirs and every image shows that.
