Sarah & David’s autumn wedding promises to be full of surprises, much like the two of them. When we met they described themselves as very much having two sides – they like to dress up and enjoy the city but they spend a lot of time cozied up with good books and crochet hooks. In fact, crocheting figures rather prominently in their story as David – yes, David – proposed to Sarah while sitting on a blanket made by his own hands. That dark lavender blanket and a companion in cream more recently finished figured prominently in our session together at his family’s gorgeous lake house. With fresh fallen snow and good humor in abundance Sarah & David wrapped each other up and explored the property where he asked and she said yes. They’ll dress for their wedding this fall at the house and the view from the windows will be oh so different, but I expect Sarah & David will be much the same – giddy with love for one another and simply, happily stunned to get to spend the rest of their lives together.
