Rachael & Will | Northern Illinois Engagement Photography

Rachael and Will met a long way from Oswego, Illinois but this Green Bay girl and Texas guy are building a life that’s all their own in the midwest. I met them at their adorable house and was promptly licked by Chloe and Zoe, a pair of black lab sisters that make that house into a home. It smelled like fresh blueberries and I spied straight-from-the-garden green beans on the counter as I followed the dogs through the kitchen and living room, laughing at their antics. Rachael’s mom helped handle the dogs and we chatted about the numerous weddings they’ve been attending this summer.  Surrounded by the evidence of their homey, down to earth lifestyle and domestic bliss, it became quite clear to me that Rachael and Will are part of a wonderfully enviable circle of friends and family that love them dearly, that will travel to Milwaukee for their turn at the alter next summer, and that will toast them sincerely and deeply on that day. They are lucky to be in love and boy, does it shine through in these images.
