On a snowy evening close to where Natalia grew up in Wisconsin Michael asked her to be his wife and months later, on the same shoreline, but a lifetime and several season away, they fulfilled that promise. On their September wedding day it was gorgeously sunny and warm, with the just the hint of fall in the air, and Natalia & Mike made the most of each personal moment offered in celebration of them. I loved their style and the choices they made that sculpted the day to make it theirs – from Natalia’s wrap handmade by her mom, to the ceremony partially officiated by a close friend, from family and guests in town from around the world to southern style touches (hello seersucker pocket squares) in tribute to Mike’s history in Georgia. It was a little bit Gatsby glam with a dash of southern charm, a touch of fall foliage and all about joy.
