I pretty much adore every wedding I shoot. I love the little details that make a day feel truly personal and I often cry during the vows as I think of my own husband. I love to see what kind of dress my bride has chosen and the look on every one’s face when they see her for the first time. I love paper, ribbons, rings, flowers and architecture. But, really, I love people. I love people who are all in, who are so wrapped up in love with one another that they ignore me in favor of watching the sunset, people who set down flowers to hold hands instead. People who get dressed up for each other and not the camera, who whisper I love you to one another without prompting. Alysha & Brenton are those kind of people. Before their wedding day they made sure every detail was in place and that everything would be beautiful (hello Excalibur, I am looking at you) but then on the wedding day they sealed the deal with a feeling that their world was one that everyone should want to be in, it’s just that lovely to be there.
