Kelsey & John are an accidentally adorable pair of souls that makes me feel better about the world. The accidental description is fitting purely because I think they would say they are awkward, but all I see when I look at them is love and kindness, generosity and adorability. As in I adore these two. When talking with them about their love story the plot lines move easily between references to Harry Potter and Habitat for Humanity, rescuing their dog Brooke, European travel and college at Marquette. She spends her days teaching preschoolers (hello, sainthood) and he’s a chemist. Together they spend a lot of energy praising skittish Brooke and enjoying date nights – out and at home – in their neighborhood of Wauwatosa. I loved spending an early fall evening with them trying to make friends with Brooke and discovering all of their awesomeness, the full extent of which I am sure will be revealed this coming May when we meet again for their Lake Country meets City wedding at St John’s Northwestern and Surg On The Water.
