Have you ever met anyone that could accurately be described as a breath of fresh air? Or as a ray of sunshine? Have you ever met someone and thought they embody what people mean when they say she lights up a room or he has a commanding presence? After a few months of seeing practically no one that does not live in my house, a morning engagement session with Lindsey (of the ray of sunshine) and Bryce (of the commanding presence) truly was a breath of fresh air. We did seemingly mundane things – a walk, a conversation, and for them a little cuddle and a lot of hand holding – and it was all kinds of lovely. Just getting to learning more about how they met in college as swim teammates and about their post-college life that they’ve molded into something joyful and right for them was delightful. They have plans to marry & celebrate with their fave people later this fall and all our fingers and toes are crossed that the universe conspires to make that happen. But after our morning together and witnessing how simply good together they are, I am certain that whatever comes will be okay. More than okay, actually, because it will be full of sunshine and fresh air, and all the things they really need. (And Love is all you need, right?)
