Abby & Charlie share many loves in life: skiing, being at the lake, travel, cocktailing, all things Door County and definitely good food. But without a doubt their greatest love is Family. Charlie is an amazing uncle and Abby a devoted aunt; everyone in their circle of friends is like a sibling to them and on the 26th of September they became each other’s family, too. Their wedding day was not exactly as they had planned for all year long, but a late swerve in planning due to the pandemic actually made it better than they ever imagined. Abby’s family cottage became the ultimate Plan B setting for their outdoor tented wedding and reception and the lake the ultimate backdrop to their most perfect day. Abby dressed at the cottage, surrounded by many of her favorite people, overlooking the lake and watching the last minute prep coming to a close on the lawn beyond the porch. Charlie and his best men arrived on the property just before the ceremony and his soon-to-be-nieces offered the most adorable welcome. From there it was a rollercoaster of happy emotions as they married in their faith, took a jaunt in a beloved and newly restored Jeep, toasted their friends with Wisco favorite Old Fashioneds and generally made so much merry you just really need to see the pictures to believe it all. Suffice it to say Abby & Charlie showed us all that Love Conquers All and as the custom neon proclaimed in their clear span wedding tent, everything really is Better Together.
