Abby & Reily | Lake Park Engagement Session in Fall

Hanging out with Abby & Reily makes for a good day. Abby is wonderfully talkative and open, as likely to throw in some self-deprecating humor as she is to share some insight into her work as an EMT. Reily on the other hand is a bit quieter and chill, the obvious calm to her perfect storm. Together with their pups they are a whirlwind of activity and delight, laughing, snuggling, playing and all around enjoying life. I adore these images that we made together, as the chronology of them peels away their layers to show much more of Abby & Reily than I think they expected, from perfect portraits to city exploring, and on to dog walks and adventuring in her beloved Jeep. I am told a companion (and equally beloved) truck of Reily’s exists and maybe next July at their wedding I’ll get to make some portraits of Reily with that one love of his that is missing here. But for now, I’m just a wee bit obsessed with the off-the-charts-sweetness I find in these. Enjoy.
