In so many ways Emma & Ryan have been a family for awhile now. They met at work and their friendship and love grew in tandem. They always had a strong connection but that bond was made unbreakable when they welcomed their sweet cheeked baby boy Henry into the world. But there is something about the ritual of marriage that transcends the legality of it all, and elevates a pair of humans who’ve chosen a partner to a pair of souls who’ve chosen a soul mate. And so: surrounded by Emma’s joyful photographer mom & family, Ryan’s delighted parents & loved ones, and their most favorite person in the world, little Henry, Emma & Ryan were married at St James 1868 in 2021. Their day was warm and heartfelt, just like them, and their night was both cozy and a wildly good time, also a bit like them. They were toasted and loved on, hugged and congratulated. And the best part, I’m sure, is that they felt every bit as beloved as they are.
