We first met Rebecca & Chris in person on their wedding day and while that can sometimes make it harder for us to “be in it” with the couple, it was practically the opposite truth with them. The immediate way the two of them wrapped us up into their families and friendships, into their happiness, into their excitement meant that photographing them was like photographing an old friend’s wedding. The people they surrounded themselves with were bubbly and warm, quick to smile and all about making sure Rebecca & Chris experienced a most magical day. Their families focused on hosting and welcome guests from all over the country to the celebration, extending hugs and asking for snapshots with their favorite people. By the end of the night everyone knew everyone and Chris and Rebecca’s world’s were well and truly mixed. And so, it was a wedding that turned out exactly as these two had hoped: Rebecca & Chris were free to just steep in all the love and joy offered by their people and by one another, two souls already tethered by choice, now formally joined in their faith and a new family of two.
