Tara & Matt’s wedding was filled to the brim with her laughs, groomsmen antics, guest fun and sweet details – from after dinner mints handmade by Tara’s mom to custom wine glasses crafted from collected wine bottles by Tara & Matt for each and every guest (and photographer.) From beginning to end each moment of the day was imprinted with Tara & Matt’s personality and life histories and I was constantly struck with how seemingly incongruent details come together to make a day perfect when each one reflects the bride and groom. Their invitations and table numbers spoke of their mutual love of travel and spending time at Lake Park and Marquette’s campus during their wedding day was a must. Bag pipers from Tara’s aunt’s piper circle processed them out of the church and the reception featured an Irish session band as well as a rockin’ dinner where guests spontaneously did the wave. Tara & Matt’s day was surprising, engaging and romantic and sweet, pure fun – just like them in every way.
