Michelle & CJ are in that really busy stage of life. Michelle works more hours than most people are awake in a week and between attending friends’ weddings and planning their own wedding this summer was probably mostly a blur. But on a sweet summer night hovering at the edge of autumn they met me for a Third Ward meander and it was decidedly lovely. Michelle is easy to laugh when CJ makes it his mission to make her do so and CJ is all eyes and heart and smile for Michelle. They can see the Hoan from their place and so we made it an ending destination and were gifted with a moody sky and perfect sunset light. More sunset walks by the lake please, Michelle & CJ can vouch for how nice it can be.

Erin & Justin simply own some of our favorite adjectives: sunny, cheerful, bright, friendly, fun. All of those words are spot on descriptors of these two sweet souls who would rather be chatting with friends and making memories with family than being the center of attention. But, of course, a wedding day is all about putting oneself front and center and we loved how Erin & Justin so deftly balanced being a part of a truly elegant soiree with hosting their favorite people at their favorite neighborhood hangs. Because really, did you go to Leff’s if you didn’t order a pitcher or buy a bucket of pull tabs? And have you been to Milwaukee if you didn’t get treated to a local brew AND a visit to a historic hotel? All of this is to say that Erin & Justin did things their own way on their wedding day and in the process they honored who they are, who they care about and how they want to spend their lives (spoiler alert: its all about family and age old friendships for these two.)
