Carter lives in a suburb of Minneapolis surrounded by a mom & dad excited to show him the world, Minnesota’s most patient cat, doting grandparents, oodles of toys and his everyday starts out in a beautiful new home. All of that makes Carter’s life sound perfect – and it is pretty perfect, but that is only half the story. His mom and dad are both busy doctors whose professional lives keep them on their toes. Carter’s little world may change, as everyday brings new new spaces, new things to get to used to, new teeth! but fortunately for him there is one thing that will never change. Carter’s mom and dad are madly, deeply, incredibly in love with him. Just hanging out with them for a few hours between flights I could tell that he is their most important concern, and that no matter where they live or how busy the days get, at the end of it all you’ll find dad reading a book to Carter and mom cuddling him to sleep. And really that’s all a little boy needs, a good book, a pair of arms and love, love, love.
