Anyone who knows them will tell you that they are accomplished, capable, driven, determined, and best of all, lovely humans who enjoy life the most when sharing it with their favorite people. And when they dream a dream they make it happen. Case in point: Their gorgeous wedding day at Milwaukee’s iconic Art Museum. They live in California where Scott hails from, but Wisconsin called them to Betsy’s home state to celebrate their union under the soaring wings of the Calatrava-designed Windhover Hall. It was the perfect backdrop for their modern love story and for capping off an entire weekend of wonderful family gatherings, of connecting worlds and friends, of becoming more deeply involved in one another’s story. Christine & Paul have known one another something like half their lives but it took a re-meet to make them realize that they were one another’s soul mate. And I think Soul Mate is, indeed, how Christine & Paul would describe one another. Both are private people who do not relish being the center of attention, but Paul would do anything for Christine – even have a big, beautiful country club wedding. And that is because Christine is Paul’s north star and he’s her favorite human on the planet. So in the most classic way possible, Christine & Paul tied their lives together before God at St Mary’s in West Bend with the help of many beloved family members, including some wee people who were too cute for words, but just perfect for pictures. It was a day all about family: the ones they were born into, the ones they choose every day and the one they created with their vows. Cheers to love and family and especially to Christine & Paul.
