Baby Burke is ever so quickly become toddler Burke and my friends, it is adorable & wonderful to witness. He loves his dog and his soft cuddly toys. He lights up when turned upside down and he’s passionate about meal times. His baby blue eyes are remarkable because of their color and they watch everything going on around him as if he just can’t wait to have a chat about it all. This session would be a delightful one no matter what, but it felt doubly sweet because it is quite likely the last session his family will have in this house as they prepare to expand into a different home. So in our own little way we paid tribute to the love this house has hosted and spent Burke’s 1 year session in his first room, in his first play room, in in his first home. It was cozy and warm and overflowing with love. It was perfect.

Baby Mae Marie may have been born in the cold, but nothing else about her life could ever be described that way. Her home is cozy and delightful, filled records on the turntable, plants growing towards the light, a love of football (both real and fantasy), two fur siblings and a most loving mom & dad. On the day I met her the pups were not quite ready for primetime, but her dog-themed nursery stood in for them as stage for most of this cuddle-filled session. Mae is named for family and is already loved beyond belief by the same. And I will say with some measure of authority that she is one lucky little human to be blessed with kind parents who are still madly in love years after we first photographed their wedding. So may I be among the many to welcome you home little one. May you grow strong in love and joy.
