Betsy and Scott have an incredible intensity about them that is joyful and invigorating, a spark that lights the way for them and, I suspect, for others. They have a vision for their life – goals and plans – but the hallmark of everything when it comes to them is to do All Things All In. They are All In for wedding planning, for travel, for family and for friends. They are All In for each other. So when they asked if we could pop champagne and explore Milwaukee’s gorgeous Villa Terrace I was All In, too. Scott dressed for the occasion in an elegant tux and Betsy played with different (but equally lovely) dress silhouettes. They danced and toasted their way through the iconic home and gardens and they made a fe Milwaukee memories to take back to their west coast home for now. It was joyful and fun, and an absolutely lovely way to get to know these two soul mates.

It is a Universal truth that Elizabeth & Michael are a power couple, a fact that will make them both blush and possibly protest because they are not just a power couple in the achievement sense, but also in the life sense. They are powerfully engaged in their work as surgeons, but also deeply invested in their families. They are powerfully in love with each other, but always make time for their friends and their dog Max, drawing strength from the depth and breadth of their relationships with others. And that breadth was on display all day at their wedding as they were surrounded by their most beloved people, all of whom were thrilled to be a part of the celebration. But perhaps best of all was their heartfelt, personal ceremony officiated by the beloved father Tim at Gesu who had administered Michael’s first communion. With such deep ties to the church and one another it was the perfect and most powerful way to start their eternal life together.
